ROUTES TO ÄLMHULT

There are several ways to get to sweden. You can go by car, train, ferry, and even airplane.


If you want to travel without ferries:

Drive via Flensburg (DE), north to Fredericia, Jylland (DK), east to Odense, Copenhagen (DK) and the bridge to Malmö (SE).


Easy road where ferries do not have to be booked:

Lübeck, Puttgarten (DE), ferry to Rødby (DK), road to Helsingør (DK) and ferry to Helsingborg (SE),

or Lübeck, Puttgarten (DE), ferry to Rødby (DK), road to Copenhagen and bridge to Malmö (SE).


Ferries that can require booking:

Ferry Travemünde - Trelleborg, up to four departures per day. There is also an overnight ferry-line with cabin.


Ferry Rostock - Trelleborg, up to four departures per day. There is also an overnight ferry-line with cabin.


Ferry Sassnitz - Trelleborg, up to four departures per day. There is also an overnight ferry-line with cabin.


From Trelleborg there is a beautiful road along the south-coast to Ystad, then north via Hörby, Hässleholm, Osby to Älmhult. Or you can take the faster road from Trelleborg via Malmoe, Lund, Hörby, Hässleholm, Osby to Älmhult.


For those who want to come by train or airplane you can go directly to Älmhult from Copenhagen Central station or from Copenhagen Airport. There's only a short walk from the train station in Älmhult to the hotel.
